Charlotte Olympia

Mabel printed canvas platform pumps

$1,150

Just Saying a girl can dream. I do believe all women should splurge once in a while. As a college student I do love browsing net-a-porter lusting after every single item, then I go out on a hunt for their inexpensive twin. This also how I make my Christmas/Birthday list. Anyway, I am a huge fan of Charlotte Olympia shoes and would love to get my feet into these babies.

Grandma

The weather in New York City has been amazing so I bust out some florals. I love this skirt and if you haven't noticed the Gap is one of my favorite stores. This skirt which is from the Gap is so comfy that I didn't even felt dressed up at all. Also, I have received so many beauty products from my internship lately I used a few of them. I am wearing Lip Tar in Grandma in the photo. I must say I would love to add some more of their products to my makeup bag. Not only are vegan and cruelty free they are not drying at all!!! I love them :-)

Also check out this artist Ndeluv....I am in love with him.

Mermaid

First and foremost, I am happy to announce I am officially done with jury duty!!
Now back to the fashion. I wore this outfit on mother's day. I have been dying to wear this maxi
skirt again which I got on sale during Black Friday from Urban Outfitters. Of course, since the weather was absolutely beautiful I paired it with a crop top. I even did my make up extra dragalicious that Ru Paul would be jealous. My new obsession is the color green and turquoise, I guess its because I really want mermaid hair. Maybe for senior year I will go out with a bang and color my hair again.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!!
Yesterday, I spent my time with my Mama and my cousin enjoying the sunny weather.
We watched hockey, GO RANGERS, ate food, and laughed.
It was fun and intimate and a great way to pre celebrate Mother's Day.
Since, it was 77 degrees yesterday I decided to wear shorts and my favorite scarf.
This is probably the only occasion I did not transform my scarf into a turban. My mama opted for a maxi dress and one of her favorite hats. She is not a turban woman AT ALL. However, she loves her hats. As you can see my mother and I have similar tastes in style, we both enjoy color, comfort, and earthy styles. The only difference is I wear heels more than she does.
Kiss your Mama Bears today and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

P.S. We both wore Furla Bags yesterday. My favorite purse.

Minimalist

This is what I wore to my photoshoot. I wanted to be very comfortable since I had a long way to travel and I would be sitting in court all day for jury duty. I love boyfriend jeans because they are comfy and can be dressed up or down. I like to think of them as the fashionista's form of yoga pants.
I can't wait to share the photos from my shoot with you guys :-)
I got my inspiration from one of my fave bloggers Stylorectic
If you click the link you wil see the photos I used for inspiration.

Cinco de Mayo

Happy Sunday!!!!
Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo....and I spent my time with family and friends
eating good food and watching the Mayweather v. Cotto fight.
This was the outfit I threw together, and let me just say how much I love Crop Tops.
Ever since I was a kid I always loved showing my stomach, and now that I have a tattoo on my tummy I jump on any opportunity to show it off.
Most people find Crop Tops skanky and trashy if not worn a certain way. However, I believe in your 20s your style should be free, adventerous, and not always on trend. One should be exploring their tastes not necessarily determining their signature style. Thus, if you are fond of a so called "fashion faux pas" run with it!!! If you look like everyone else how can you stand out in the crowd??
How did you spend your Cinco de Mayo??? What are some fashion faux pas that you like??

Magical Rasta

Greetings!!!
First and foremost, I am obsessed with headwraps and turbans..
Did you notice???
Funny thing is this is actually a sarong wrapped on my head.
My mom bought it for me on her recent trip to Jamaica to wear with my new bikini. However, The rastafarian colors made me want to wrap it on my head.
I have a tendency to take any scarf that I am attached to and put it on my head instead of my neck.
Also, these are my favorite pair of jeans. Levi's boot cut and I adore them. I love how they make my legs look and compliment my curves. Levi's and I have a good relationship....especially their wide leg jeans. They are affordable and fit me like a glove. What are your favorite denim brands??
In other news, I wore this outfit to jury duty and I must say it is the most boring thing EVER.
I can not wait until it is over I miss the girls at ALLURE and all the fun.
I am still obsessed with the supernatural and considering using it as my senior thesis...preferably vampires. I guess you can blame my obsession with Ian Somerhalder...and of course the Vampire Diaries in general. Horror, myths, and gore have always piqued my interest so why not use it for educational purposes.
